Fantastic!!!! All the other books, courses on writing, publishing, marketing seem overwhelming. This makes it feel doable. All the main points seem to be there – from branding, your avatar, writing – even in 30 days, the launch, the specifics of marketing, and more. Very clear and concise. It’s helping me to stop procrastinating. –Lisa Ashelman

Allen Rubin has compiled everything one needs to know in order to successfully write and publish their own book. His list of detailed instructions walks the would-be writer through the entire process, from start to finish. This book covers everything from sparking the initial idea, to tips for creating content, to detailed instructions for getting published. I love Rubin’s suggestion on blogging daily for a year in order to gather enough material for a book. This book is a must-have for anyone who has ever dreamed of becoming a published author. Destined to be a best-seller! –Paula Kennerson
Allen Rubin’s new book gave some insights into the writing of my own book. I have been struggling with the question of how to appeal to everyone as an audience and Rubin’s book points out that having a focused target audience is more successful than targeting the entire population. I didn’t know that. This is a relief as my story is a little quirky. I also liked his idea to start a blog and write a page every day and also to post excerpts on social media. This is a way of taking writing in little steps. Great book to help put a dream into reality by following easy steps. -Nancy Gibson
As a first-time author on Kindle, it was super helpful to have a book filled with so much great information, taking the guesswork and confusion out of the self-publishing process. I recommend it to anyone who wants to write a book and publish it on Amazon. -Paul Wayne
I had not been motivated to write a book before but after reading this book I’m inspired to think about it. It’s a very practical self help book with good advice on how get started on writing a book (finding your topic, your gift to the readers/world) and then useful information on how to go about getting it published that makes the process very straightforward and easy. There’s also a section with ideas and suggestions for marketing the book once you’ve published it. Since the world of publishing is changing and may seem foreign and 9difficult to navigate to those of us who have not ventured into it before (or even to those who may have tried and been bewildered!) this guide self publishing is a great way to reap the benefits of another author’s experience and the lessons he has learned through what I imagine to have been considerable time and effort. No fluff or stories of wrong turns taken – just useful information. -Peter Dalton
